Echo Fox is pleased to announce that Qanba will be the Echo Fox FGC teams’ official fighting game joystick. The first event of the deal will be this weeks’ ELEAGUE Street Fighter V tournament where Echo Fox’s full Street Fighter roster will compete. In addition to players being able to use Qanba’s elite fighting game joysticks, Qanba will also be present on the Echo Fox jersey.
“I’m absolutely floored to have Qanba be a part of our team,” said Echo Fox FGC general manager Antonio Javier. “I’ve always said I was a fan of our players first, and I could say the same for Qanba. I was a fan of theirs first, even before I heard about this partnership, so to say I’m excited is a huge understatement!”
Qanba was founded in 2009 with a simple mission: to create the finest gaming peripherals on the market. In that time the company has become well known throughout the fighting game community for the quality of the products it produces.
Echo Fox’s players are already quite familiar with Qanba’s craftsmanship since they’ve been using Qanba’s joysticks for quite a while. Echo Fox’s first Street Fighter signing, Julio Fuentes, is thrilled to have Qanba officially sponsoring the team.
“I am really, really excited to hear Qanba is part of the team,” said Fuentes. “It’s already a perfect match since I’ve religiously used their sticks for a huge portion of my entire tournament career! I still carry one of the older onyx models because the craftsmanship is seriously top notch! Qanba has been doing it right for years now and I can’t wait to see what they’ll release in the future!”
With such fierce competition at ELEAGUE, the fighting Foxes will need every advantage they can get. Justin Wong is confident that Qanba will provide a valuable edge during the tournament.
“I’m really happy to see Qanba be part of the Echo Fox team,” said Wong. “I have been using the Qanba Obsidian at home and at tourneys and I have to say it’s my favorite fight stick on the market right now. The weight is perfect and it has an amazing response time.”
